Plant:              A woody twining climber with stems several metres long.

Flowers:         Racemes of small, reddish-pink to yellow flowers borne on old stems.

Flowering:      October-December.

Fruit:               Red, globular drupe, 5-8mm diameter

Leaves:          Alternate, palmately-veined, heart-shaped 4-12cm long and 2-9cm wide, glossy, tough and on long stalks.

Habitat:           In sheltered gullies in or near rainforest.

Features:       Climbing habit. Alternate heart-shaped leaves with 7 raised veins.
