Plant:              A shrub to up 1m high.

Flowers:         Cream to white, 5-6mm diameter tubular flowers with 5 spreading petals and 5 stamens. Flower tube 3-4.5mm long. Flowers are axillary and dense along the stem.

Flowering:      August-October.

Fruit:               A small reddish-brown capsule

Leaves:          Ovate to diamond-shaped 4-12mm long, concave, leathery, veins parallel, glossy above.

Habitat:           Exposed sandstone cliffs and rock crevices.

Features:       Small cream to white star-shaped flowers.

Name:

Epacris           From Latin epi = upon and akros = the top (referring to its habitat originally thought to have been confined to the tops of hills)

coriacea         From Latin = leathery (referring to its leaves)
