Plant:              A small erect shrub up to 1m with angular stems.

Flowers:         Star-like 15-25mm diameter flowers with 5 bright pink to purple petals and 10 yellow stamens. Solitary flowers borne at tips of stems or on short stems in the upper leaf axils.

Flowering:      February-June.

Fruit:               Brown coccus

Leaves:          Shiny narrow to broad elliptic 3-6cm long and 4-13mm wide with a pointed tip and a distinct mid-vein. They are stalkless, alternate, on angular stems and aromatic when crushed.

Habitat:           Sheltered situations in dry sclerophyll forest and heathland.

Features:       Pink star-like flowers. Aromatic leaves.
