Plant:              A scrambling climber with tough wiry stems up to 2m long.

Flowers:         Purple pea flower with yellow spots on standard petal. Masses of flowers in short racemes in leaf axils.

Flowering:      July-October.

Fruit:               Oblong pod, 2-4.5cm long.

Leaves:          Narrow lanceolate to oblong, 3-10cm long and 1-5cm wide, 1-folilate, alternately arranged, tough, leathery dark green and heavily veined.

Habitat:           In dry sclerophyll forest – often on disturbed ground.

Features:       Climbing or scrambling habit. Sprays of purple pea flowers.
