Plant:              A slender twining climber with hairy stems up to 3m long.

Flowers:         Pink to mauve pea flowers in racemes in upper leaf axils.

Flowering:      All Year.

Fruit:               Straight, narrow, pod 1-5cm long and up to 4mm wide with 9-12 seeds.

Leaves:          Palmate (trifoliate) with linear to lanceolate leaflets 1-10cm long and 2-14mm wide. The leaflets have short even stalks.

Habitat:           Common in dry sclerophyll forest and heathland.

Features:       Climbing habit. Trifoliate leaves. Pink to mauve pea flowers.

Glycine           From Greek glykys = sweet (referring to its sweet leaves)

clandestina    From Latin = hidden (referring to its flowers)
