Plant:              A prostrate or climbing herb or shrub up to 50cm high.

Flowers:         Tiny green flowers with 5 petal segments in axillary spikes toward ends of stems.

Flowering:      All Year.

Fruit:               Red or yellow globular berry 3mm diameter

Leaves:          Soft, alternate or opposite arrowhead-shaped leaves with 2 spreading lobes at the base, 1-13cm long.

Habitat:           In coastal areas.

Features:       Arrow-shaped leaves. Red berries.

Name:

Einadia           From Greek ein = one and andros = man (referring to the single stamen in its flowers)

nutans            From Latin = nodding (referring to its fruit spikes)
