Plant:              A tiny delicate mat-forming fern up to 10cm high.

Fronds:           Semi-erect 2-9cm long arching fronds, bipinnate, translucent and finely toothed.

Sori:                Borne in a covered, cup-shaped receptacle on upper side of segments.

Rhizome:        Long, creeping, wiry much-branched and dark.

Habitat:           Usually found growing in mats on rocks in the rainforest.

Features:       Translucent filmy fronds. Rhizome dark and wiry. Usually growing on rocks.
